Kent D. Hogan

Senior Associate

Kent Hogan entered the construction industry with McStain Enterprises immediately out of High School as a 3rd generation builder operating heavy equipment. Quickly moving into residential construction management, Kent gained experience in purchasing, estimating, land development and field operations. McStain, an industry-leading organization believing in education and personal development, afforded Kent the opportunity to participate in numerous NAHB seminars and industry specific college courses in scheduling, quality control, time management and employee development.

After founding Hogan Custom Homes, Kent became involved in the local chapter of the Home Builders Association. He served in several board leadership positions, including chapter President, and was a member of the Executive Board of the Metropolitan Denver Home Builders Association. Kent was honored as Builder of the Year for the Boulder Chapter of the Metro Denver HBA in 1997.

Asked to return by McStain, Kent assumed leadership and management of Land Development operations with additional responsibilities in Land Acquisition, Purchasing and Estimating, Construction Operations, IT/IS, Project Management and full participation on the senior management team.

Today Kent applies his 40+ years of residential construction experience to a much wider audience, while staying active in the Colorado Front Range building industry. Renewing a long time relationship with Scott Sedam, Kent joined TrueNorth as an Associate Consultant and Facilitator in 2004.

Kent lives his belief that mentoring, training and developing individuals are important, to not only the individual, but ultimately the success of all organizations.
